Skolens undervisning/pædagogikØsterbro International School is a candidate school for the Middle Years Programme and an Interested PYP School. ØIS is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy – a commitment to a high quality, challenging and international education. Our primary aim is to identify and appreciate the unique potential of each pupil, and develop it to the full in a caring, comfortable and happy environment. Skolens historieØsterbro International School was founded in 2009 by the initiativ group to meet the needs of the International English-speaking community in Copenhagen. In the first year, the school accepted students from Prep Class through 7th grade and opened its doors with a total of 63 pupils. The school has an excellent After School Program and currently offers several After School Clubs to choose from, as well as a Morning Club.
